Eagle Academy is historically at Ward 6 school we started here about 18 years ago and open just with about a hundred Seventeen kids who were early childhood and then we grew from there to our present operation where we having school in Ward 8 and we also still have a school here in ward 6 we're very happy to be in this location because this is a brand-new community that is just being developed this area will have a lot of kids who will need an educational program and Eagle Academy is happy to be part of the solution welcome to the new Eagle Academy Capitol Riverfront campus when the students walk in there going to be all they're going to see all the lighting the beautiful colors or previous school was a building that we turned into a this building was designed with a purpose to be a school we can house up to 300 students and all of them very comfortably and successfully and we can run full programs here the classroom sizes were playing for two purposes one for a Pre-K student where the classrooms were divided by a bathroom is very important for a Pre-K student to have a restroom inside of their classroom so they do not have to go outside in the hallway when they have to use it are K through three student their rooms are spacious so that we can have adequate shelving and equipment for them to learn throughout the school year as you know Eagle Academy PCS first Early Childhood published our mission was for students as young as 3 to not go to daycare but they go to school and that's been our mission for over 18 years the wow factor of this area is that it gives a student and excitement to know that their school is in a community that's up and coming the overall goal of the school will be the same as always and that's for every student by the time we leave third grade to leave with social emotional competence to become Advanced readers and to become critical thinkers
