A few weeks ago a reporter from the NY Times visited Eagle Academy CH and participated in a discussion with our leadership, students and staff.

The current political climate has sparked a debate on charter schools and their impacts on students. A few of the candidates running for president have expressed their thoughts on the state of the industry.

Today the NY Times published an article on the current political discussion and highlighted Eagle Academy as a model of excellence due to our hard work, dedication and successes.

Eagle Academy PCS’s Test Scores Soar Schools Ranked Among Best DC Public Charters

WASHINGTON, DC (October 29, 2019) – Eagle Academy Public Charter School announced today that its Congress Heights and Capitol Riverfront campuses achieved high scores in both English language arts (ELA) and math last spring, earning recognition from the DC Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) as Tier 1 schools. Each year DC PCSB evaluates schools’ performance and ranks them in tiers, with Tier 1 being the highest.
