EAGLE AFTER CARE CLUBS Eagle Academy PCS' expanded After Care program offers children a variety of activities that enhances both their educational and social development.
The new After Care Clubs program, offered M-F from 4pm-6pm, is comprised of eight Clubs ranging from dance to sports to music to construction. Each semester, students select two to three Clubs to participate in. Below is a brief description of the After Care Clubs offered:
- Dance - Extensive body exercise, gross motor development, Pre-Ballet, Hip Hop and Modern Jazz
- Dynamic Designers - Creation through imagination, making creative projects (hats, flowers, pictures, jewelry, etc.
- Eagle Song Birds - Learn a variety of music styles and learn about different types of instruments, rhythm and acuity of sound
- Sport Nest - Youth soccer and/or T. Ball, team building and organized play
- Story Book Alive - A mix of reading, creativity, and drama via books and poetry acting out of storybooks, poetry and art project
- Bob the Builder - Introduction to construction building, small motor development, eye hand coordination and learning about various working tools (hammer, saw, pliers, ruler, etc.)
- Chant Team - Build self-esteem, learn voice projection, coordination, cheerful spirit, motivation and extensive gross motor skills
- Daisy Troop (4 and 5 year old girls) - Introduction to Girl Scouts, build self-esteem, leadership skills, community service and social etiquette
At the end of each semester, the students show-off their new talents in a performance for fellow students, parents, teachers and community leaders. Before & After Care Program - General Information Eagle Academy offers a Before Care (7:30am-8:30am) and After Care (4pm-6pm) program. Space is limited so you must apply if you want your child enrolled.
The cost of the Before and After Care combined is $250/month. The cost for just After Care or just Before Care is $125/month. If you have a second child in the program, the fee for the second child is reduced by $25/month/program.
