Welcome to our flagship campus, now known as "Eagle Academy at Congress Heights." Our journey began in 2011 with the transformation of the historic McGogney School, and since then, we've been dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for our students. This building has won four (4) American Institutes for Architecture awards for excellence in design.
In 2013, we embarked on a significant transformation of our Wheeler Road SE location. This renovation project was more than just bricks and mortar; it represented our unwavering commitment to providing the best for our students.

Modern Design and Renovation: We invested in state-of-the-art design and renovations to create a dynamic learning environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Cutting Edge IT Infrastructure: Recognizing the importance of technology in education, we made substantial investments in IT infrastructure to ensure our students have access to the latest tools and resources for learning. All students have an IPAD, access to top speed internet and smart-boards in every classroom.
Teaching Swimming Pool: We take pride in offering a well-rounded education. As part of our commitment to holistic development, we introduced our first teaching swimming pool, providing students with opportunities for physical fitness and water safety. We were the first elementary school in Washington, DC to offer swim classes to young learners.
High Quality Educators: Our school leadership spared no effort in recruiting high-performing teachers and staff. We believe that outstanding educators are the cornerstone of a successful educational institution.
